Stanford Tour group 2 Day 6
Today was the day for our long-awaited field trip to San
Francisco. We went to the California Academy of Science as our first stop. We first entered the rainforest exhibit where we could see butterflies and birds of a wide variety. Some of our group mates
were scared of the butterflies. Yet all of us enjoyed the experience very much
and immersed ourselves fully in this beautifully recreated environment of a forest.
The best part of this visit to the California Academy of Science was seeing the
albino alligator. We were all surprised by the largeness of the creature. It
was truly a fun experience.
The next stop was the Golden Gate Bridge. The view was
stunning and we were all amazed. In fact, physically being at such attractions
was drastically different from merely viewing images on the internet. We loved
it very much. It was surprisingly windy and chilly in San Francisco. We enjoyed
the fascinating scenes a lot.
The next stop was the famous Fishermen’s Wharf. We took a
lot of nice photos around the pier. The souvenirs we saw seemed so memorable that
we couldn’t help but to buy them! We were all astonished by the breathtaking views
and sights in the Fishermen’. Although we didn’t have too much time to spend there,
we definitely involved ourselves completely to create valuable memories
