Stanford Tour 2018 Day 6 Group 6
15th July,2018
Today we had a chance to go out of the campus and visit San Francisco. We were able to visit famous attractions and experience more about how life is like here.
First, we went to the California Academy of Sciences. What was most surprising to us was that the albino alligator, it was actually cute instead of scary! It was also our first time to see an alligator that is without the green skin colour and has a pair of white eyes. We learnt more about different species of animals and insects which broadened our horizons. The rainforest was detailedly and there were many fascinating butterflies! We learnt the importance of protecting our mother nature and the habitats of many species!

Then, we headed to the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was a bit breezy but the breathtaking scenery made us forget the chilling wind and we definitely had a great time taking pictures there! We also went to the Pier where we had a cheerful shopping moment at the seaside. All of us had a big bag of souvenirs for our families and friends, we surely enjoy every moment we spent there!
One highlight tonight was the celebration of Selina and Bridget’s birthday. We made a surprise and it was a great success as they were pleasantly surprised that we helped them celebrate a new chapter of their lives. We were all given a delicious piece of cake which everyone enjoyed.
