Stanford Tour Day 6 Group 2

Today we had Robotic Thinking with Nicholas. During the lesson, we learnt how robots think logically. Nicholas made the lecture really interesting as he teaches us how robots think through the use of Physics and Philosophy. This interactive lesson really inspired us a lot as Nicolas asked us lots of thought-provoking questions which made us think more deeply and out-of-the-box. We were also really surprised by how different the teaching methods were between Hong Kong and the United States.

After lunch, we went on a Scavenger Hunt. During the hunt, we went to a lot of places in Stanford we haven’t seen before. Although it was very tiring, we had a lot of fun. The most memorable moment was when we went to the Law School. The building was grand and breath-taking. Another memorable moment was when we had a dance party at the clock tower when the bell rang. Although it was a bit embarrassing as people were watching us dancing like crazy, we had so much fun and it was really stress-relieving. No matter how the results come out, we will be satisfied and contented with our results as we already tried our very best.

After the Scavenger Hunt, we went to the Stanford shopping mall. We definitely shopped till we drop. We went to a lot of different kinds of shops and we had a really incredible time shopping with our dear friends. When we were shopping, we were reminiscing the times when we were shopping with our families. We can’t wait to come back to Hong Kong to shop with our families. It was really a fun time doing what we love with our friends.

After shopping, we went to a big field to play sports. The field was enormous. We played 'Capture the Flag' and dodgeball. Although some of us lost, it didn't matter; what mattered was the process and our bond that grew through these games. We had the time of our lives there. We also took a lot of pictures when the sky turned into a mixture of blue and pink. Through these acitivities, we learnt that the result wasn't the most important part of any game, the important thing was our friendship and the process of playing. We enjoyed it very much!

Today was definitely a superb and fantastic day!
