Group 5 15/7
Today we went on a tour of San Francisco, the weather was chilly unlike in the campus. The first stop was the California Academy of Sciences. There were three sections, The Aquarium, Tropical Rainforest and the Planetarium, we saw a lot of different plants and animals, it was especially fascinating for us because we learned about the ecosystem in Biology before, and this provided a chance for us to put our knowledge into practice in recognising the different species. However, it was regretful that we didn’t have enough time to visit the planetarium, which would surely have been astonishing. We then proceeded to go take pictures at the well-known landmark of California, the Golden Gate Bridge. It was truly a magnificent sight when you look down from the bridge, the view is absolutely stunning! Then, we went shopping at Fisherman’s Wharf. There were lots of souvenir shops, we learnt that good time management is essential in order to maximise the quality of our experiences. We ended the day with a birthday celebration of two of our classmates: Bridget and Selina.
